Dori Griffin teaches graphic design and design history at the University of Florida, School of Art + Art History. She’s currently finishing a book about the visual history of the type specimen, forthcoming from Bloomsbury Academic Press, and serving as the associate editor for statements of practice and pedagogy with the journal Design and Culture. She’s also collaborating with her students—all day, every day—to develop remote work strategies and to engage fully as designers with online learning platforms.
