Coffee with Creatives January Topic: What it Means to be A Creative Director
Designer and writer Matt Steel leads a conversation on what it means to be a creative director. We'll talk about what the role entails and the relationship between directors, creatives, and clients.
Matt is the creative director at Parisleaf, a branding and design agency that helps courageous brands discover and display their purpose. A recovering entrepreneur with 14 years in the creative industry, Matt has worked in various agencies and ran his own design practice for four years. He is happy to be at a place that allows him to spend most of his time leading (and often stumbling through) the creative process.
Whether you're a designer yourself, work with them, or just want to get to know a few, this is a great opportunity to connect with your community. Grab a cup of coffee and let's chat! It will be a great place to meet new people.
This Coffee with Creatives will take place Saturday, January 27 from 10AM–11:30AM at CYM Coffee at Cymplify, located at 5404 NW 8th Ave.
This event is FREE and open to both members and non-members. *Please note coffee will not be provided by AIGA.
