Jennifer Ford

Jen is the Director of Marketing and Communications for the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications. She is also the founding president of AIGA Gainesville, the local chapter of the country’s largest professional association for design, and now serves on the AIGA National Chapter Advisory Council and Design for Democracy committee.

Prior to her current role, she served as marketing director for UF CJC Online for 3 years, where she played a pivotal role in a more than 100 percent increase in online master’s enrollment from 2017 – 2020. She also is an adjunct instructor in the UF CJC Online graduate program. Prior to joining CJC, she was a senior graphic designer and social media manager at UF Online and prior to that, Multimedia Developer with the UF Career Connection Center. She also worked at The New York Times Syndicate and Vivid Concepts Magazine in editorial, design, and art director roles.

Jen graduated from Idaho State University with a B.A. in Mass Communication specializing in visual communication and received a Master of Arts in Mass Communication specializing in web design and online communication from the University of Florida.
