Are you interested in playing an active role in the design community? Do you enjoy being a part of AIGA, and want to play a bigger role in Gainesville’s chapter? Join the AIGA Gainesville board! We are seeking passionate community members to serve as board members and volunteers.

AIGA Gainesville is a 100% volunteer driven organization. We’re looking for local design leaders and enthusiasts to step up and commit to a term of service to help continue to benefit and grow design in Gainesville.

Finance Director – The Finance Director oversees the chapterʼs financial resources including financial planning and regular reporting. They keep the rest of the board up to date and in line with all things $$.

Communication Director – The Communication Director owns our website, social media, and promotional programs. They lead the team that writes and designs everything we put our name on while creating a strategy for getting the word out.

Web/Interactive Chair – The Web/Interactive Chair is responsible to maintaining the chapterʼs website and email blasts. The Web Chair can also work with Programming to develop web-focused events throughout the year.

Volunteers – We know that sometimes your willingness to help exceeds your ability to make a long-term commitment. If that’s your case, we encourage you to serve as a volunteer. If you can work the door or help set-up or tear-down an event, help make event or social media artwork, write a press release, or make some phone calls, we can use your help.
